Process and Performance Management

BIMSER

Business Process Management (BPM)

We can define business process management (BPM) as a way in which all processes of an organization are modeled, controlled and monitored. It is an effective method that can be used to ensure that processes are efficient and effective, especially in times of crisis or when organizational costs are desired to be reduced.

The main goal of Ensemble, Bimser’s BPM software, is to define, monitor and continuously improve the organization’s processes. Automation of these processes through business process automation is of great importance at this point. We cannot measure and improve the processes we cannot manage. The easiest way to measure is to automate and make this data meaningful. In today’s information technology society, too much data is generated and it is difficult to access the data that needs to be analyzed due to the data pollution caused by this data. As Bimser, you can create and monitor meaningful data with our business process automation software solution. By defining applicable rules, you can make the processes independent and contribute to the formation of a corporate culture.

Performance Management

After defining and modeling the process, it is also necessary to measure and monitor the efficiency and success of the process. For this, so-called metrics or indicators are used. These indicators also provide information on how the process can be improved. Although there are different types of indicators such as quality, efficiency, input, output, etc., all of these indicators provide an idea about the process. Indicators are monitored in certain periods, targets are assigned, periodic values are entered and results are reported.

With Bimser’s Ensemble solution, you can quickly take the right decisions based on data when necessary by monitoring the values of your organization that you consider critical for the processes. In this way, you give your organization an additional resilience against constantly changing market and environmental conditions.

It is a tree-shaped list in which the structure of business processes is determined and their levels are revealed. The most important feature is that the hierarchical relationships between processes are clear. Processes can be divided into main process, sub-process, detail process or 1. level process, 2. level process is obtained by decomposing it as such. When starting the Business Process Management, the next steps cannot be continued until the process structure of the institution is established.

After the structure of the processes is revealed, the purpose, scope, input, output, units involved in the process, key success indicators of the process, resources of the process, risks, control points, documents related to the process are brought together to form the identity card of the process in a sense.

It is the most important step of Business Process Management. Diagrams showing how processes are carried out, the sequences between activities, and the relationships between units. While there are different process modeling methods such as BPMN, Cross Functional, EPC in the literature, organization-specific process modeling methodologies can also be established. Process models show how a process is or should run.

BPMN, short for Business Process Model and Notation, is a standard process modeling language. Processes drawn in the BPMN format, an XML-based process modeling language, can be visualized by transferring them to any application that supports this notation. This is the biggest advantage of being a universal language. The current version of BPMN is 2.0.1.
